The weight of emotions
Emotions can feel heavy in ways that are hard to explain. Sometimes you wake up feeling fine, but as the day goes on, small worries, expectations, and memories slowly build up inside you. You may smile and continue with your routine while silently carrying thoughts no one else notice. Feelings are invisible, yet they can affect how we think, act, and see ourselves. Growing up often means learning how to understand emotions that don't always make sens.
The weight of emotions becomes lighter when we allow ourselves to acknowledge what we truly feel. It is okay to feel overwhelmed, confused, or sensitive because emotions are part of being human. Instead of hiding them, we can learn to express our feelings through writing, conversation, or moments of rest. Emotions may feel heavy sometimes, but they also help us grow, understand others, and become stronger with every experience we face.
